Amedeo Giurazza, graduated in Economics from the University of Naples Federico II, is a chartered accountant and a statutory auditor. He was appointed in 1989 as a stockbroker and held some positions on the governing bodies of Rome Stock Exchange. In 1991 he founded Borsaconsult SIM SpA, a brokerage company authorized for all investment services, holding the positions of CEO and President. In the 1990s he was a member of the Board of Directors of Cedborsa ScpA (now SIA SpA), of G4 Gestione Fondi SpA (now AcomeA SGR SpA), as well as a member of the Confindustria Finance Group and of the most representative national associations of financial brokerage (Unionsim first and Assosim then). In 2001 he founded Vertis SpA, which became Vertis SGR SpA in 2007, of which he is CEO. Vertis manages 6 closed-end investment funds (2 private equity funds and 4 venture capital funds), and currently has 26 subsidiaries in its portfolio. From 1992 to 2009 he was also a lecturer first in Stock Exchange Technique and then also in Economics of Financial Intermediaries in the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of Sannio in Benevento. From 2016 he is a member of the General Council of AIFI (Italian Association of Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt) and still is a board member in different companies in the industrial and service sectors.
