Professor, President of Links Foundation

Born in Turin on 17.09.1948. In 1972 he graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Turin. Since 1973 he has been working in science and teaching at the Polytechnic University of Turin as first Assistant, then Associate Professor and finally, since 1986, as Ordinary Professor of Processing Systems. Author of more than 150 publications in national and international journals, he has collaborated and coordinated several research projects at national and European level. He founded the research group for cybersecurity of the Polytechnic University of Turin, very active at European level.  He was the first Italian researcher to deal with malware and in particular computer viruses. Since 2018, he has been president of the LINKS Foundation, one of Italy’s leading research centers.
