Full Professor of Business Organization, he is Deputy Head of the Deparment of Economics and Management of the University of Padova and President of the undergraduate programmes in Economics. He is the scientific director of the Osservatorio Professioni Digitali at University of Padova and scientific director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business (CEFab) at CUOA Business School. He is also the coordinator of the Osservatorio Capitale umano, Organizzazione e Lavoro at Fondazione Nord Est. From 2006 to 2015, he was adjunct professor at the College of Business of the University of Michigan Dearborn (USA). He has been visiting professor at L. Recanati Business School Tel Aviv University (2014), University of Lugano (2013-2014), Guangzhou University (2012), Sun Wah International Business School of Liaoning University (2011). From 2012 to 2016, he was member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Research Project on EMEA Mid-Market funded by GE Capital. From 2017, he has been member of the italian team of the international research project Business resilience among disadvantaged groups: A European Study, funded by JP Morgan Chase Foundation, which includes other research teams from Warwick Business School, Aston Business School, IE University, IfM Bonn, University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. From 2016, he has been member of the Scientific Committee of CUOA Business School e from 2018 of the Scientific Committee of Centro Studi Fondazione Ergo. His main research fields are entrepreneurship, family business, new ventures, science and tech-based firms, KIBS and hybrid jobs. He won international awards for the quality of his research activity and published articles in national and international scientific journasl (Family Business Review, Journal of Technology Transfer, Entrepreneuship & Regional Development), books and has contributed chapters to nationally and internationally published books.
