Simona Torre has joined FIA – Fondazione Italiana Accenture in late 2018. Before that, she has been part of Buongiorno Global Technology Team since early 2000 until 2012, contributing to the development of the company from a startup to European leader in Interactive and Mobile Services. Upon NTT DOCOMO acquisition in 2012, Buongiorno was renamed DOCOMO Digital, and Simona was appointed to launch and lead a Corporate Acceleration & Venture Program (b-ventures) aimed at accelerating the growth of tech startups, with special focus on the Fintech sector, being also involved as member of the Selection Committee of several acceleration programs funded by the European Commission. Today Simona still seats as BoD member of two startups accelerated by b-ventures from 2012 and 2018: Oval Money and DNAphone. Prior to that, Simona worked at Accenture, specializing in design and installation of IT solutions in the banking sector. Simona graduated at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, in Statistics Science.
Fondazione Italiana Accenture, with Accenture spa as its sole founder, has as primary mission the transfer of technologies, skills and experience from the profit to the non-profit world Fondazione Italiana Accenture shares and supports Accenture’s Corporate Citizenship programs, and through its proprietary platform manages competitions for ideas and training programs, implementing sustainable, scalable, replicable and employment-generating Digital Social Innovation projects.
