The closing for competition entries of the 9th edition of the Gaetano Marzotto Prize, Ticket to the Future, has been extended through to May 13, 2019.

With total prizes of more than 2 million euros and a large network of partners and investors, the two competitions, the Business Prize and Business Idea Prize, aimed respectively at the already incorporated businesses with a turnover of at least 100,000.00 euros or those with a financial or industrial partner, excluding those businesses in the bio/med/lifesciences/ health care sectors which by their nature have different timeframes and development methods of their own, with a recognition of 300,000.00 euros in cash; the second prize is dedicated to innovative startups, with a recognition of 50,000.00 euros in cash.

Also up for grabs, through participation in the two competitions, are 30 assistance programmes offered by the network of incubators and scientific and technological parks, along with various Special Prizes that are promoted by corporate partners. 

The Gaetano Marzotto Prize is a competition that is open to natural persons, project teams, startups and already incorporated businesses, which have a new entrepreneurial idea that is capable of generating economic returns along with a positive social impact in Italy, and whose business locations and development base are in Italy, but with a capacity for international growth. 

The proposed ideas must be original, innovative and feasible, financial sustainable and capable of generating economic returns. Competition entry is free with an application form in English. 

In order to participate the on-line form must be filled in and sent by midnight of Monday May 13, 2019. The application form can be found in the section “Partecipa” on the site www.premiogaetanomarzotto.it.
